Abstract
Ethical education plays a very important role in the health of the human soul and the well-being of the individual as well as society. Much attention has been paid to ethics and moral education in the sacred religion of Islam, so that one of the most important purposes of the Qur'an's revelation is moral upbringing, self-cultivation, and nurturing of moral virtues. The eloquence and rhetoric of the Holy Quran has a special message for every human group. The verses started with {O you who believe!} address believers that now since you have believed, obeyed and made a covenant with your God, therefore, you should abide with the commandments that follow this phrase.
The main purpose of this study is to explain the components of moral education in the Qur'an (a case study of the verses of ‘Ya ayyuhallezine amanu’). This has been accomplished by means of an explanatory-analytical method and by scrutinizing the verses of the Holy Qur'an that have begun with the addressing of ‘Ya ayyuhallezine amenu’. First, the components of moral education have been identified (justice, courage and empathy) and then the subsets of these components been explained and discussed among the verses in question. The findings of the study show that the Holy Quran obliges believers to do things on all human subjects, and especially on human rights and those related to the moral issues. All divine and human schools have accepted the principle that it is possible to give society order and stability if human rights and obligations are to be fully realized.
