Corruption represents a significant obstacle to economic growth, societal development, and the pursuit of social justice, prompting extensive investigation across ethical, economic, and social frameworks. This inquiry is a component of the author's doctoral dissertation and utilizes a data-based theory approach. The study articulates the indicators of corruption as interpreted through the lens of the Holy Quran, while also examining the managerial consequences that stem from these indicators. A thorough analysis of Quranic verses reveals that corruption is characterized by several indicators, including its pervasive nature, ability to spread, conflict with human dignity, inherent repulsiveness, complexity and ambiguity, temporal relevance, and its association with power dynamics. By focusing on these indicators, a more nuanced understanding of corruption within society emerges, distinguishing it from various individual transgressions and sins. Each indicator identified in the Quran regarding corruption carries specific managerial implications that are crucial for addressing administrative and organizational corruption. These implications underscore the necessity for organizations to not only grasp the comprehensive nature and ramifications of corruption but also to develop thorough and effective strategies and policies aimed at mitigating its diverse manifestations.
