The Quran and Science (QS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to advancing scholarly research at the intersection of the Quran and the sciences. The journal aims to foster rigorous intellectual engagement with the relationship between revelation and empirical knowledge, highlighting the relevance of the Quran in understanding both the natural world and human civilization.

    The Quran and Science (QS) seeks to promote high-quality research that explores the scientific, philosophical, and theological dimensions of Quranic studies, with particular attention to the scientific miracles of the Quran, Quranic verses related to the natural and social sciences, and the dialogue between faith and reason in the context of modern scientific developments. By bridging the humanities and natural sciences, the journal contributes to the ongoing discourse on the integration of religious knowledge and empirical inquiry. The Quran and Science (QS) strives to:

Scope

The scope of The Quran and Science (QS) encompasses interdisciplinary scholarship that critically and constructively examines the relationship between the Quran and scientific inquiry, including, but not limited to, the following areas:

1. Advancing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of Quranic studies and science;
2. Publishing systematic, problem-oriented scholarly findings related to the Quran and science;
3. Providing a platform for the development of interdisciplinary knowledge grounded in Quranic perspectives;
4. Promoting humanities scholarship informed by Quranic teachings;
5. Addressing and critically examining perceived tensions or doubts concerning the relationship between the Quran and modern science.
