Abstract

According to the Big Bang theory (the most popular theory of the origin of the universe), all matter and energy once existed in a small, infinite, burning ball that exploded, and after the explosion, the material world was created and is continuously expanding. In various verses, the Holy Quran refers to the continuity of the parts of the world, then their separation from each other and their expansion. In his own philosophy, Suhrvardi talks about the creation of the world in a different way, that is, Ishrak Anwar. The main issue in this article, which is written in a descriptive analytical method, is whether the verses of the Holy Qur'an are compatible or inconsistent in the religion of Islam and modern physics? Is the creation of the universe in Islam, new physics and Sohrawardi's philosophy limited to this material world or are other worlds considered in all three cases? With the conducted investigations, the confirmation of the compatibility of Islam with new physics is proven only in the creation and expansion of the material world; While Sohrvardi's philosophy is not in harmony with the view of new physics or the Qur'an's ratq and hernia in the creation of the world.
